Hello there,
We are back again with #Mindset_Mondays. I don't know about you but this week just flew by!!

It was so great to hear some of your Goals as part of the Twitter response which I am excited to share as part of this post. For me personally, I love using Twitter as a place where I can get motivation and optimism especially this year where it is very easy to get stuck on the negatives that have popped their heads up haha.

How was your week? How did you go with setting goals for yourself?

I think as my *edit* from the blog post last week said. Even with my goals and my good intentions, life happens. These goals and this space is not for us to feel bad when we don't achieve our goals but it is a space for creating intentionality for our week. It is a place where we can help each other be accountable for our actions but also accept that things come up and it is okay to restart each day :)

Let's see what goals and intentions we can set for this week....
'Drop everything and reflect'
Another amazing quote from George Couros from #Innovatorsmindset. I am loving using this book as a prompt for Season 2 of Empathetic Educators looking at the Themes of Growth and Relationships. This quote really stands out for me as I think it aligns with what has helped me in my journey this year.

Sometimes life can go on and on and we may forget to pause and take stock of what is going on. One of my favourite things that this year has given me is time and forced me to stop. I wrote about this in my post on Friday. I think time is one of the most valuable things that we have and where possible we need to try and respect our time as well as each other's time.

Here are some the amazing goals from my #TwitterTribe - @stapeslr @sphoenix78 and @LSignedSttwitter.com/LSignedStoriesories I am so grateful to have these and so many others as part of my journey. I think it shows from these goals and my own goals many of us had what we choose to spend our time thinking about as a goal.

I think this really relates back to George's goal from before - what do you spend your time thinking about? Is it useful? Is it needed? How can we use our reflection time to acknowledge our circumstances, accept and take action?

Like Laura says - allow worry time and like Nic mentions in her goals - deal with them. How can we allow ourselves to feel and then take action or move on instead of dwelling? Like Leanne mentions in her goals, use our own reflections to develop positivity and optimism even when things get tough....

My goals for this week to foster daily habits are:
- Take time to reflect - I have ordered and received a journal which I am excited to start writing in each night (I feel like I am 8 again with my own diary, anyone else have a wee lock and chain on their diary ?? <3)
- Make sure not to forget my headphones! - I forget my headphones and my 13k cycle was just the worst without my music and podcasts
- Start my squat and sit up challenge again - would love if anyone else wanted to join in at your pace :) :)

What are your goals for the week? How does your mindset help you?

I hope this wee mini post of my reflections helps your goals - accepting where we are and thinking about what is possible next no matter how big or small...

I am excited to hear about your goals again this week!!

Our choices have an impact - what impact are you going to have?
